Just for fun, a list of webcomics I used to follow back when I actually had time to…
Megatokyo – A hilarious anime/manga style webcomic. Was the best of its kind when it first came into existence back in the early days of webcomics. I also wasted a lot of time on the old forum community when it was still lively.
8-Bit Theatre – Another hilarious one. Makes fun of Final Fantasy, old video games, and RPGs in general.
Penny Arcade – One of the best gaming-related webcomics.
XKCD – The best stick figure comic. Has the best science jokes.
Mac Hall – A very well drawn and coloured comic about the everyday life of insane college students. Quite funny.
Apple Geeks – Another silly comic about insane college students.
Avalon High – A comic about your average Canadian High School, and the relationships and challenges of students. Very intricate storyline. Also quite funny.
Errant Story – A complex, well drawn fantasy-style comic.
Alpha Shade – An exceptional use of flash and photoshop with a very compelling sci-fi/steampunk/fantasy/airships story.
PVP Online – A funny webcomic about a bunch of characters at a gaming magazine company.
A Modest Destiny – A very funny sprite comic.
Dominic Deegan Oracle For Hire – A fantasy story. Very pun heavy.
Gunnerkrigg Court – Beautiful story and art.
Order Of The Stick – Hilarious D&D satire.
Something Positive – Sarcastic to the extreme. Also cats are liquid.
Questionable Content – This went from sarcastic to uplifting and also has a surprisingly interesting take on robots.
Extra Ordinary – A very silly slice-of-life comic.
That’s all I can remember right now, but there’s probably more I’m forgetting…
